Particularly beautiful headpiece of angels flanking a coat of arms on p. iii. Full leather. Hinges cracked, edges worn, corners bumped. Library and cataloguing labels on front pastedown endpaper along with a clipping from a bibliographical listing. Free endpaper has ink code. Title page has ink notation, ink stamp scratched out in pencil, blind stamp and hole-punched stamp. Blind stamps on pp. 377-379. Hole punch stamp pp. 405-407. Missing all six plates.
