Labels for Évêché de Montreal on front pastedowns along with a bit of residue from removed labels. Spine missing from vol. 1 and detached from vol. 2 but tucked inside. Vol. 4's spine chipped at both ends. Vol. 5 has chipped spine edge. Hinges tender in vol. 4, vol. 2 rear board, & vol. 1. Front free endpapers missing in vols. 1 and 2. All rear free endpapers missing except vol. 2. Ink signatures and blind stamps on most title pages. Text blocks very clean with only an occasional spot. Nice candidates for rebinding. French text.
