Ex-library with bookplates for Wycliffe College, Toronto, and library blind stamp on title page. Also an armorial bookplate for Henry James Grasett on front pastedown. (Possibly the prominent Church of England clergyman and educator of 19th-century Toronto). Small price label on rear pastedown. Front free endpaper detached. Dampstain to first pages, including title. Title and first pages chipped at edges. Small ink mark corner of p. 103 and tear in corner of p. 265 do not affect text. Most pages clean and bright.
