BEARD, Charles R.
In addition to being a collector, Frederick Nettlefold (1833-1913) was one of Victorian England's "Captains of Industry," taking over his father's brass company when the latter took up a political career. Nettleford was also a leader in the Unitarian Church and served as lay President of its international organization. Discusses the early life of R. W. Martin, Martin's brothers, the F. J.
