Copies of Original Letters From the French Army in Egypt. Part the Third, Consisting of those Letters to the French Government, Intercepted by the British Fleet in the Mediterranean Which have been Published Here by Authority. With an English Translation.
Relates to the interesting world situation at the turn of the 19th century. Letters date to the time after Napoleon ditched his army in Egypt under the command of Gen. Kleber. Included are documents apparently written by Napoleon and Kleber as well as other military personnel. As the letters don't portray Napoleon or the French army in the best light, we may assume a certain amount of British propaganda. We leave it to the reader, however, to separate fact from fiction.
