Relates to the interesting world situation at the turn of the 19th century. Letters date to the time after Napoleon ditched his army in Egypt under the command of Gen. Kleber. Included are documents apparently written by Napoleon and Kleber as well as other military personnel. As the letters don't portray Napoleon or the French army in the best light, we may assume a certain amount of British propaganda. We leave it to the reader, however, to separate fact from fiction.
