A collection of political cartoons, many of which first appeared in the New York magazine PM. Szyk (1894-1951), a Jewish artist who fled Poland just before WWII, was a master of caricature, well able to satirize the arrogance, irony and evil demonstrated by the the Axis powers. This collection was published in July 1941, five months before the United States entered War War II, and many of the cartoons reflect Szyk's optimism that the war would end soon.
