2 vols.: liv, 536; 541 p. 27 cm. Vol. I has b&w frontispiece portrait, title vignette, and 19 colour plates. Vol. II has title vignette and 20 colour plates. Half leather with black cloth. Vol. I leather spine mainly removed but torn in two pieces and tucked inside. Vol. II has tear in upper rear hinge. Both volumes have worn corners and a few marks to exteriors. Vol. I has ink inscription on front free endpaper. Foxing, mainly to endpapers and plate versos. Stains in vol. I pp. 386 to 437 but all text legible. Vol. II has stains to bottom margins or corners of 3 of the plates.
