Three-paragraph foreword by the author of Anne of Green Gables (L. M. Montgomery) who thought highly of Brown's nature poetry. Titles include Moonrise on Lake Kushog, Abegweit [Prince Edward Island], and Haliburton Memories. Montgomery states "she is very close to Nature and interprets the loveliness of the world in a graceful and appealing way."
