Three-paragraph foreword by the author of Anne of Green Gables (L. M. Montgomery) who thought highly of Brown's nature poetry. Titles include Moonrise on Lake Kushog, Abegweit [Prince Edward Island], and Haliburton Memories. Montgomery states "she is very close to Nature and interprets the loveliness of the world in a graceful and appealing way." This is the only book of poetry published by Brown (1889-1971), a Toronto stenographer. Watters p. 26.
