Anne of the Island

MONTGOMERY, Lucy Maud; TAYLOR, H. Weston (illus.)

Regular price $150.00 CAD Sale

Although Montgomery had hesitations about continuing the Anne series, this book is dedicated to "All the girls all over the world who have 'wanted more' about Anne." There was a gap of six years between this Anne title and the preceding one. Introduced in this story are the famous Gog and Magog, two dog statues that were taken from life. One of the dogs remains today at Robert Montgomery's farm on PEI.
