From the 15th November, 1832, to the 3d April, 1833. In the Third year of the Reign of King William the Fourth. Being the Third Session of the Fourteenth Provincial Parliament of This Province. Includes reference to the May 21 election riots in Montreal. On that occasion, three supporters of Daniel Tracey of the Parti Patriote were shot dead by government troops. Colonel MacIntosh and Captain Temple are arrested for ordering the shooting. The next day, it was announced that Tracey had been elected to the Legislative Assembly for Montreal West. Appendix M (approx. 140 p.) of this volume pertains to correspondence concerning these events, in both English and French. There was also a cholera epidemic in Quebec that year, and Appendix D refers to sickness and burials at the Quarantine Station at Grosse Isle.
