3 vols.: ix, 322; xi, 267; xiv, 406 p. 25 cm. B&w illustrations of schools and teachers. Blue cloth with gold lettering. Dampstains to cloth not affecting interiors, except vol. I has light stains to top edges of front endpapers and top margins of first pages, a few spots on top edge. Some drip stains on its rear endpapers. Vol. III has some dents to edges. Corners bumped in all volumes.
