Attempt at Lake Winnipeg and surroundings. Areas west of Hudsons Bay called New North Wales and New South Wales. Lands of various tribes labeled eg. Algonquins, Sioux, etc. Isaak Tirion (1705-1765) was an 18th-century Dutch publisher and cartographer who was active in Amsterdam. In his long career, he produced eight atlases in multiple editions, some of which were published posthumously until about 1784.
