    [10], 88, [12] p. 25 cm. Half leather with marbled paper boards. Advertising at front and rear. Text in two columns. Both boards detached and spine deteriorated, worn edges and rubbed boards. Tear in p. 87. Remains of clipping attached to front endpaper. News article and inscription from 1887 on front pages. Another article pasted to top of first page of text is about "Works By Local Authors," including Conway. This article is nearly torn in two. Some stains to text. Two letters by the author are at rear of text, in both of which Fargus thanks reviewers for their "kind review," one from 1880 and one from 1883. Clipping tucked in at rear has a poem by the author.
