iv, 684 p. 42 cm. B&w engravings. Folding colour plate of Rifle Contest, Wimbledon, is foxed, much torn, and sticking together. Second colour plate of The Life-Boat at Tynemouth Bar is much foxed. Third colour plate is for Christmas and is badly torn with some tape present as an attempt at repair. Half leather with marbled boards. Worn corners and edges. Boards detached. Much of spine detached or nearly so. Edges and corners worn. Boards rubbed, leather scuffed. Stains, offsetting, foxing. No pages missing.
