xvi, 301, [2] p. 23 cm. B&w plates. Red cloth. Spine faded. Worn corners and spine ends. Bookplate on front pastedown for Colborne Powell Meredith (Canadian architect 1874-1967). Taped inside are a signed letter of apology from the author to Meredith, a copy of a letter from Meredith to Prime Minister Mackenzie King, and two photographic copies of a letter from Mackenzie King to Meredith. All correspondence refers to a conversation on pp. 43-44 of the book, in which Lunn records comments by Meredith about King that were meant to be off the record. The comments were about King's grandfather, William Mackenzie, but the Prime Minister seems to have been amused. Ink correction on p. 43.
