PHILLIPS, W. J., et al (illus.)
Walter Joseph Phillips (1884-1963) was famous for his woodcuts and watercolour sketches. His artistic career spanned from the 1900s through the 1940s, during which time his work was exhibited throughout North America and his native Britain. Common subjects for Phillips included scenes of Manitoba, the prairies, and the Rocky Mountains.
