(1782–1867) was an English cleric, schoolmaster, topographer, and writer on Freemasonry. His correspondent, with the unlikely name of Crucefix (1797–1850), was an outspoken Freemason who established a journal called the 'Freemasons Quarterly Review' in 1834. Note bookplate designed by James Jervis Blomfield (1879-1951), Canadian artist and designer best known for his design of the coat of arms of Vancouver.
