    lxix, 114 map pages, [5] p. 46 cm. 64 pages of maps, most coloured. Also pages showing drawings of scenery or buildings. Many b&w portraits. Rebound in half leather with green cloth boards. Torn spine head, some scuffs elsewhere. Book has been well-used and inexpertly repaired: label removed from front pastedown; hinges cracking internally; title page has rebuilt edges; numerous tape repairs and rebuilt pages, occasionally affecting maps eg. map. p. 113; stains; thumbing; underlining of men's names pp. lxv-lxix; some unrepaired tears. Not pretty.
