Trails, Trappers, and Tender-feet In the New Empire of Western Canada

WASHBURN, Stanley

Regular price $125.00 CAD Sale

Washburn and his team made several attempts at exploring the Yellowhead Pass, escaped a bush fire, inspected the head of the Fraser River, surveyed the Tête Jaune Cache, met the builders of the Grand Trunk Pacific Railroad, and survived a 350-mile canoe trip down the Fraser to Fort George. There they enjoyed the "Garden of Plenty," the interior of British Columbia.
