How is Deepdene, busy knitting, troops, forces, navy. Both keeping fit. Hope same. All my love, Nellie." Other side has typewritten response signed by James D. Lihou, "Dearest Nellie, Foreman seed farm. Interesting work .... Lots responsibility, staff over twenty. Returning Roberts Field After War. Deepdene everything stored. Garden cultivated. Love, kisses both. Jim." "Catel" likely typing error for "Castel."
