Holmes, Norman Mills Price, C. M. Manly, T. G. Greene, W. W. Alexander. Alfred Harold Howard (1854-1916) was a British-born artist living in Toronto, working as an illustrator, graphic artist, calligrapher, and decorative designer. Charles William Jefferys (1869 – 1951) was a Canadian painter, illustrator, author, and teacher, best known as a historical illustrator. Frederick Henry (Fred) Brigden (1871 – 1956) was a landscape painter in oils and watercolour, illustrator, and commercial engraver. Norman Mills Price (1877–1951), born in Brampton, was known for his work in historical subjects.
