Peel 2178. Calgary sets out ot prove the salubriousness of its climate for consumptives. Includes testimonials from local doctors and former consumptives living in the area. Former owner Gardiner (1849--1924) wrote "Nothing but names: an inquiry into the origin of the names of the counties and townships of Ontario," published in 1899. He was a local newspaper editor in Hamilton, Ontario.
