Walter's Diary

Walter Lacosta

Regular price $150.00 CAD Sale

This autobiographical set of diaries serves as a window into the life of Walter Lacosta during his time working as a bouncer in Toronto 1979-1980. Within the pages are his personal, raw, account of working as "The hired Muscle for a male strip-tease act." The author does not shy away from speaking his mind and describing the dancers, their friends, exploits and conquests in vivid and graphic detail. The diaries are filled with personal opinions, experience and observations, as well as sex, drugs, music and dance and told in often vulgar slur-filled language. A mature read not for the faint of heart.
