Last page, original rear cover, has advertisement for The United Irishman, Giffith's nationalist newspaper. The author advocates that Ireland follow Hungary's lead in splitting fom its imperial overlord by withdrawing its Members of Parliament in London setting up a similar institution in Ireland, a policy known as Sinn Fein "ourselves". This was formally proposed at the first annual meeting of his own party, The National Council, in Novemer 1905. This book was reprinted in 1918 but the 1904 first edition is rare.
