Thoreau MacDonald: A Catalogue of Design and Illustration

EDISON, Margaret A.

Regular price $300.00 Sale

Famous Canadian illustrator Thoreau MacDonald was the only son of Group of Seven painter J. E. H. MacDonald and sometimes worked jointly with his father on book design and illustration. This book is a record of the work of Thoreau's career as a designer and illustrator, the basis of the catalogue being the collection built up by author Margaret E. Edison. The drawing "Fish Hawk" was created in 1933 but is here reproduced for the first time and signed by MacDonald.
