Title continues: "Fully Stated and Considered, in a Letter To the Right Honourable the Author of the Candid Reflexions on the Report of the General Officers, &c." About the ill-fated British campaign led by General Mordaunt to take the French port of Rochefort in 1757 during the Seven Years War. The author lays the blame for its failure against Mordaunt himself rather than Prime Minister Pitt.
