At the Sessions in the Old-Baily, holden for London and Middlesex, on Fryday the 18th of July 1679. The defendants were among those falsely accused by Thomas Oates and others during the "popish plot" during which many innocent Catholics were executed for treason. Unlike others, Wakeman and his codefendants were acquitted. ESTC R13879. Wing T2259.
