Australian writer and photographer Nancy Phelan (1913 2008) published over 25 books, including novels, biographies, memoirs, travel books and a cookbook. She travelled widely throughout Europe, the Pacific, Asia and the Middle East, writing about and photographing her adventures.     25 b&w photos, each 10" x 12" (31 x 26 cm). 13 different images, 12 duplicates. Some photos have identification labels on rear plus photograph descriptions such as 3/5 Schneider lens, Agfa 17 Din film. Included is a typewritten letter to the photographer c/o Common Ground Ltd. in London, England from Spillers Limited at 40 St. Mary Axe London, dated February 4, 1946. Also a handwritten letter to the photographer from a friend named Michael in New York, Oct. 1, 1976.
