Van Tuyl and Fairbank was a hardware business in Petrolia, Ontario that closed its doors in 2015 after operating for a century and a half. This large staff Christmas photo has photos of over 100 staff with names, except for bottom corner where a few names and date of picture chipped off. Ink stamp on the rear is that of another local business. Edy Brothers Edy Bros. Photography Studio was another family run business spanning several decades between the 1860s until the early 1920s in London, Ontario and elsewhere.

Germain, Harness and Leather Goods, Petrolia, Ont." "Presented to John H. Fairbank by his Employees" at bottom with names B. S. Van Tuyl and Samuel Rogers. Views of the store and Fairbank's "Sunnyside" mansion in Petrolia. Staff photo has numbers corresponding to names printed at edges.
