Receipt shows Sir Edward Barnes, Major General and Adjutant General with One Aide de Camp, earned a little over 260 pounds over a period of 61 days. Anthony Rosenhagen was one of the comptrollers of army accounts in 1816. The position of comptroller existed from 1703 to 1835 but, at the time of this receipt, the position would have been shared by two other men.
