The Fireside Series. Printed by Turnbull & Spears, Edinburgh. 24 p. 25 cm. Colour frontispiece, one other full-page colour plate and numerous b&w drawings. Red cloth spine with paper covered front board and cardboard rear. Covers detached. Spine cloth split in middle. Paper on front is wrinkling and has some rubbing and spots. Edges worn. Ink inscriptions on front pastedowns read "Miss Mathilda Emmerson 18 April 1896" and "To Rosslyn Emmerson with love from Aunt Tillie 1958." Free endpapers have offsetting. Paper much browned except for colour pages.
