Newly rebound in brown leather with pink marbled paper boards. Gold lettering and design on the spine. 41 p. of plates features 29 colour etchings. Additional 106 etched figures on plates and throughout text. Some foxing and staining as well as some tears throughout the text. Tiny tear in pink paper bottom front. Marginalia at "BRE" and "SHE." Some penciling on figures of "Tugwell's Plough" and on figures of "Root Steamer," and on back flyleaf.
