This four-volume collectors set is the last of a number of collaborations by Irish Naturalist and clergyman Rev. Francis Orpen Morris (1810-1893), landscape artist Alexander Francis Lydon (1836-1917), and printer Benjamin Fawcett (1808-1893).

    4 vols.: 90, [1]; 82; 80; 80 p., interspersed with plates. 29 cm. Each volume contains colour woodblock illustrations by Alexander Francis Lydon on art paper with accompanying protective pages bound into book. Cloth bound boards with gold and black impressing on the front, gold impressing on spine, blind impressing on back board. All edges gilt. Vol. I rebacked with original spine overlaid. Vol. I also contains a letter signed by C. P. Christie, Esq., pasted to front free endpaper. Some wear to spine ends and corners as well as small holes in hinges. Some foxing. Hinges cracking internally, repaired in vol. I only.
