Edward Gordon Craig (1872 – 1966) was an English modernist theatre actor, director, and scenic designer who was an illegitimate son of actress Ellen Terry. His daughter, Nelly Craig (1904-1975), wrote these letters to her brother, Edward Craig (1905-1998), revealing much about their father.
