VERRIER, Hugh (ed.); MACDONALD, Thoreau; WHALLEY, Peter (illus.)
Canadian singer-songwriter Wade Hemsworth (1916 2002) was not a prolific composer, having written only about 20 songs in his career. But several of his songs most notably "The Wild Goose" (p. 19), "The Black Fly Song" (p. 31), and "The Log Driver's Waltz" (p. 57) are among the most enduring classics in the history of Canadian folk music.
