The Court Register. III. Lists of the Army, Navy, Universities, Public Offices, Hospitals, &c. With many Improvements, and the Addition of some new Lists." Lists directors of the South Sea Co. of "Bubble" fame, as well as directors of the Hudson's Bay Company. Contains the army list for 1776, important for dealing with breakaway colonials about to impertinently declare independence.

    First section unpaginated; second section [4], 270 p. 14 cm. One illustration in first section. Burgundy leather with gold impressing. Marbled endpapers. Red ink used on first title page and throughout first section. Front board coming loose. Corners worn. Ink inscription on rear of front endpaper. First title has ink stamp on bottom corner. Two leaves in first section have diamond-shaped holes with slight loss of text. Should be 272 p. in second section; last leaf missing with loss of text. Some stains.
