Designed as a companion volume to the Opera Omnia Erasmi, a collection of works by Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus (Erasmus, 1466-1536) edited by J. Clericus, Leiden from 1703 to 1706. Ferguson felt that many of Erasmus' important shorter works were omitted and deserved equal standing with the Opera Omnia. This volume represents the fulfillment of that project. Signed by editor and presented to Allen Talbot. Minor browning to first and last blank pages before the half-title and after the index. Corners of boards are bumped with minor tears. Extremes of spine also show wear. Other than inscription of the editor, there is no marking in the text.
