Engraved title pages, with two different illustrations, stating Printed for John Bell near Exeter Exchange Strand London Sept. 1778. Tree calf with gilt trim. Burgundy, black and green spine labels. Books 99 and 100 of Bell's Poets. Front pastedowns have bookplates of Douglas of Cavers and small reference labels (the only indication of library usage). Small ink notations at tops of front pastedowns.
