New spines with original cloth overlaid vols. 1 to 3. Vol. 4 has new spine with original spine label. Some fading to cloth elsewhere and corners worn. Ink inscription on a front endpaper in vols. 1 & 2. Former owner's labels on half titles. Small label on rear pastedown in vol. 1. Foxing to frontispiece and title page in vol. 1. Foxing to other volumes is mainly first and last pages. Last volume has some occasional blue pencil crayon marks in margins.
