AYRES, Lew

Regular price $35.00 CAD Sale

Lew Ayres is best known for his role in All Quiet On The Western Front. In 1954 he and Robert Duncan, an accomplished photographer and technician, embarked on a year-long, 40,000-mile trip around the world to study the non-Christian religions. Ayres hope to assist the cause of world peace, reinforce his own religious convictions, and entertain the public. This book, part of his attempt to fulfill the third goal, remains an interesting and often amusing look at the Asian world of the 1950s.
