O Aleijadinho e a escultura barroca no brasil
Aleijadinho (or Antnio Francisco Lisboa) is said to have been a colonial Brazilian sculptor and architect, noted for his works on various churches. His crowning achievement seems to have been the Twelve Prophets at the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus of Matosinhos at Congonhas (see p. 283 onwards) but scholarship in recent years suggests a sculptor by this name did not even exist. Text in Portuguese.
