Sir John Rhys was a Welsh scholar, fellow of the British Academy, and the first Professor of Celtic languages at Oxford University. This booklet is an appeal for funds to erect a village hall in his native village, Abercaero, Ponterwyd, Co. Cardigan, in his memory. The text is in English and Welsh. Gregynog Press still exists as a private printing press in Wales, producing limited edition, hand-bound books.
