Four illustrated title-page vignettes by Christian Gottlieb Geyser and Jakob Wilhelm Mechau (signatures appear in first title page along edge of the illustration). Bookplate on front pastedown. Chipped leather at lower spine and a little chipping at top. Cracking at top of front hinge. Worn corners. Free endpapers missing. Ink signature on title page. Page 45 in first section has chipped top corner. Darkened pages, especially at rear. Chip in bottom of page 369 in last section.
