Worn corners, edges, and hinges, rubbed boards. Bookplates, ink signatures, and ink stamps from non-circulating library on endpapers. Small hole in front endpaper in vol. 2. These two volumes contain a general introduction and a Life of Marguerite Bourgeoys.
