JONES, Edward

Edward Jones was a Welshman who lived chiefly in London and liked to describe himself as "Inner-Temple" although he was not. He was prominent in the London Gwyneddigion Society, a debating and cultural society for those who spoke Welsh fluently. Jones was also a Latin scholar, as indicated by the fact that this entire reference work is in Latin except the prefaces and addenda.
