    119 p. 29 cm. 19 tipped-in colour plates by Detmold. Brown cloth spine with cream paper boards, pasted on circular squirrel illustration. Inside, the squirrel plate is detached with slightly roughened lower edge. Some wear to spine with small tears in spine ends and tear in front hinge. Corners worn. Boards lightly soiled. Foxing mainly to first pages. Front hinge cracking a little. Rear endpapers replaced. Thumbprints. With the exception of the Donkey illustration, which has some thumbing and faint blue marks, the plates are spotless, vibrant and captivating to look at.
