A pirated version of some of Tennyson's early poems printed by Torontonian J. D. Campbell. Fifty copies ended up in the hands of Englishman J. C. Hotten which led to legal charges by Tennyson. Hotten paid one hundred pounds in fines and was ordered to destroy the material.
