A Dictionary, Spanish and English, and English and Spanish

DELPINO, Joseph Giral

Regular price $400.00 CAD Sale

A Spanish teacher in London, Delpino maintained his dictionary contained thousands more words than any other dictionary of its kind, accents on the Spanish words and spelling based on the Real Academia Espanola. Critics have pointed out that Delpino's work is largely that of his predecessor, Peter Pineda. However, Delpino did add a dagger symbol to indicate the part of speech of an entry, as well as the added innovation of advice on how to pronounce English words.
