    2 vols.: 374; 448 p. 28 cm. Vol. 1 has frontispiece of Ulrich von Hutten and 11 other portrait engravings. Vol. 2 has engraved frontispiece portrait of Erasmus. Full leather, red text block edges. Worn corners, spine labels chipped. Vol. 1 has ink and pencil notations on both endpapers, top corners of frontispiece and title page dampstained, damaged rear pastedown. Vol. 2 slightly chipped at spine head with some cracking of front hinge.
