In June 1905, Charles A. Sidway moved to Elkhart, Indiana and established the Sidway Mercantile Company. Incorporated in May 1906, the firm sold folding baby carriages world-wide. The post card attached to this flyer allows the sender to request a baby's weight chart, suggestions on baby's care, the name of the nearest Sidway dealer. Colour illustration indicates the collapsible baby carriage can be carried onto a train or rest at the back of a horse-pulled buggy. One can also lift the entire carriage, baby and all, into a car.
